To conclude, cholesterol is not bad in itself – otherwise, our own bodies wouldn’t produce it. It plays the key role in building up the plasma membranes and hormone production. High level of bad cholesterol and low levels of HDL are dangerous, though. The most crucial thing is to closely monitor your food intake and make sure it is rich in good cholesterol.
